Sansho House

Year. 2006~

In 2006, the old Sansho Primary School 2 storey wooden building, was transformed into Sansho House, a facility where people could stay overnight. It also became a centre for artists, their supporters and their activities and was much loved by many people. Classrooms have been changed into rooms where visitors can stay, with bunk beds set up. In the lounge, travelers have conversations with each other while eating home-cooked meals made with fresh vegetables. Four artists have placed works inside and outside Sansho House and during the event, seminars and symposia will be held here. There are programs for people staying here and for primary and junior high school students to take part in. Have a relaxing stay while enjoying art.
