Australia House
Looking for an Australian artists who stay and increase exchange between Australia and Japan
Australia has been participating in Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale since its beginning in 2000. Australia House was launched as a place to introduce Australian art and deepen the relationship between the two countries in 2009.
Although the original Australian House collapsed due to the Northern Nagano earthquake in March 2011, a new Australian House will be built for Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2012. We will be looking for artist(s) who will create art through collaboration with locals.
