The Forest School program includes workshops and talk events by artists and other specialists from diverse fields, walking around local villages, participating in farming, and checking out artworks. The programme is not just for kids – parents and adults can also find themselves entertained!
All are welcome.
The Echigo-Tsumari Forest School was opened in the summer of 2011 in the hope of turning Echigo-Tsumari into a place in which both locals and those affected by the Great Eastern Earthquake can share time, eat well and lift their spirits. Echigo-Tsumari will continue to extend our hands to Tohoku, lean on each other, and enjoy a “modest matsuri” together – a festival offering evidence of our existence.
Please check an event calendar.
Please check how to apply, dates and price as no program is the same!
