Materials, approaches and concept of "sculpture" have been changing drastically. Why one would chose "sculpture" as the means for expression? This exhibition features ten artists to reveal transforming sculpture of today.

Gallery Yuyama
Gallery Yuyama opened in a renovation of an old minka house in Matsunoyama area as a part of abandoned house project under Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2006 and has been running exhibition throughout the year under the management of contemporary art group, GUN set up in 1967 in Niigata. They organise exhibitions and events throughout the year featuring themselves being artists based in Niigata exploring various ways of expressions.
