The popular artwork from ETAT2015 returns to Echigo-Tsumari

posted March 30, 2019
Masahiro Hasunuma experienced the transformation of seasons from black-and-white winter to spring filled with soft light to summer under the burning sun during his stay produced twelve stories of flip-book featuring characteristics of Echigo-Tsumari, ranging from picking up sansai, rice planting, driving on the snowy road.
The artist refers to "dream" in the exhibition title asking himself and us "dream is something happens in your head and yet you don't know what will happen next. Is what we see in the dream only belonging to you? A dream may be an independent existence like bacteria living in our body.
Enjoy the story featuring Echigo-Tsumari consisting of reality and imagination. The artwork was originally presented in an old minka house during ETAT2015 and will be presented again with some new editions.
