Report on Kohebi Salon vol.6: Regionality of Echigo-Tsumari and Shinano Ohmachi & summer activity

TSUMARI DIARYPosted : July 21, 2017

The 6th Kohebi Salon was attended by 20 kohebi members and Fram Kitagawa introduced Japan Alps Art Festival to participants including how he took up the general director role, cultural landscape of Shinano-Ohmachi and documentation of the festival happenning. It was very informative talk even there was no time for exchange conversations amongst participants as it went overtime.

The latter half of the salon was spent on introducing activities in summer in Echigo-Tsumari. In addition to limited opening artworks and special exhibitions, there is an artwork which will be dismantled when the summer is over. Whether you have seen it or not, I hope many people will be able to say "thank you" to the artwork if they are able to visit Echigo-Tsumari this summer.
