Snow Workers' Ballet was first performed in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2003 by local drivers of the snow shovel cars under the "stage" direction by Mierle Laderman Ukeles. After two consecutive years of heavy snow fall in 2010 and 2011, the artists and drivers come together and show an amazing ballet performance by snow shovel cars.
