EAT & ART TARO returns to Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale this summer with a new food project. He brought unique food projects to ETAT2012 and ETAT2015. The theatrical restaurant born in ETAT2015 where local women play a theatrical piece as they serve meals at Echigo-Tsumari Kamigo Clove Theatre has become one of the "permanent collections" of the festival, welcoming visitors with seasonal projects in between years of the festival.

EAT & ART TARO visited Echigo-Tsumari to experiment menu and practice play while the restaurant at Echigo-Tsumari Kamigo Clove Theatre opened for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field Winter this February and March.
He exchange ideas and practiced with local women of Kamigo area and Aoi Nozu, an actor who wrote a script and worked as a director.
In addition to the new programme at Echigo-Tsumari Kamigo Clove Theatre, he will also bring a new project to KINARE this summer. All the food projects are expected to be very popular during the festival so we recommend you to book with one of the official tours which includes special lunch either at the restaurant in Echigo-Tsumari Kamigo Clove Theatre or Ubusuna House!
