Prior to the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale launching on Sunday 29 July this summer, we are pleased to run a special event at Shibuya Hikarie 8/ from 5 to 17 June. You will be able to buy official guidebook and ETAT2018 passport on site as well as guide map, entrance tickets to performances and live concerts. Come and find out about the two official guided tours to see what you will be able to see and experience during the festival.
We are pleased to announce the additional guests to a series of talk events featuring General Director, Fram Kitagawa and participating artists and official supporters including Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, who runs "Mole TV", the very popular artwork of the festival and Ryuji Fujimura, one of the participating architects who will present his work at Hojoki Shiki 2018.

Born in 1966 in Yamanashi. Completed master course at Tama Art University. He has been producing artworks engaging audience including "Dia del Mar/ By the Sea" at PS1 MOMA (2002), ""OTAKU persona = space = city" at Venice Biennale: International Architecture Exhibition (2004), and Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2006. He also organised "Dailily Art Circus 2011" from August 2011 for a month to visit 30 affected areas by the Great Eastern Japan earthquake to bring connection to people through art.

Architect・Associate professor at Graduate School of Architecture / Department of Architecture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts /Principal Architect, RFA
Born in 1976 in Tokyo. Educated in Tokyo Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Architecture until 2008. He has been a principal architect at RFA since 2005. He taught at Toyo University as a lecturer from 2010 until he took up an associate professor position at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2016. Major architectural desings and publication include "Facility for Ecology Education" (2014) and “Architecture for Critical Engineering-ism”(2014) and “Prototyping: Many Models and Remarks”(2014) respectively.
