Report on the Kohebi kick-off meeting and invitation to the 2nd meeting

2018 TRIENNALEPosted : June 23, 2018

The first meeting of Kohebi, the official supporter of ETAT was held on 10 June at Hikarie during the promotion week of ETAT2018.

The meeting began with a short (comedy) performance by Kohebi members introducing what Kohebi does followed by a workshop of creating contributions to the artwork, "Green Room Project" by Koichi Sakao. Everyone enjoyed helping create artwork and the presentation by Fram Kitagawa, General Director of the festival.

We are inviting participants to the second meeting to be held at Art Front Gallery in Daikanyama, Tokyo.

Kohebi members help operation of the festival in many areas including "managing artworks", "running events" and "being a guide on the official bus tours". "What are we expected to do as Kohebi?", "How can I get to Echigo-Tsumari from Niigata or Tokyo?", "Is there anywhere we can stay and eat during Kohebi activities?" - we will answer all of these questions you may like to find out.

The meeting will include a talk by Fram Kitagawa. Anyone is welcome - and look forward to your participation.
