《Stay in an old school》
Katakuri House
An old school in Akiyamago has transformed into an accommodation with onsen. Young staff members who are attracted to the region welcmoe visitors with freshly harvested local produce.

Sansho House
※ Only for group of 10 people or more
A wooden school building standing on top of the hill in a local village has turned into an accommodation suited to group stay. Local villagers will cook hearty meal with local ingridients. The guest can also enjoy "Lost Winter" by Leandro Erlich, a newly greated artwork for ETAT2018.

House of Light
The only artwork in the world by James Turrell, the artist of light, where you can stay overnight. It has been one of the must-see artworks since its lanch in the first ETAT in 2000.

Dream House
An old minka house turned into artwork by Marina Abramovic where you can also stay overnight. Abramovic invites guests to "dream a dream so that you will be able to listen to your heart in your busy life". Enjoy unique experience you can only get as you stay at Dream House.

Shedding House
Junichi Kurakake and students from a sculpture course at Nihon University College of Art spent two years on curving every surface of 150-year-old minka house from the floor to the ceiling, revealing an undiscovered aspect of the house. You can occupy the entire house with your family or friends.

Ubusuna House

The old minka house with a thatched roof has transformed into a space featuring Japanese potters. Opens for visitors to see artworks or enjoy delicious meals cooked by locals.
