Born in Hungary in 1999. The artist holds Chinese citizenship, was raised in Italy, and studied in Japan. Graduated from Comic Art Course at Faculty of Manga, Kyoto Seika University in 2023. Currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts. Fluent in Japanese, Chinese, English, and Italian, Lisa is an unique artist who incorporates individual cross-disciplinary perspective and manga techniques, drawing upon a diverse cultural background. The artist explores memories of somewhat nostalgic places and trivial daily occurrences, making the theme the discomfort and deviation that arises from straying away from the original context. The artist pursues a distinct expression that feels immersive, akin to being in a dream. Short-listed as the 16th “ART IN THE OFFICE” in 2023 and selected as a finalist for the “TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD 2023,” receiving an excellence award.
