Access

This tour visits Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel, House of Light, and other representative Echigo-Tsumari art sites. Enjoy lunch at an old thatched house, where you will be served handmade meals prepared by the village mothers using an abundance of wild vegetables and local produce. Refresh your body and mind in the satoyama with its fresh green leaves. It takes 1 hour from Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa Station by Shinkansen.

Digest tour of all six areas of Echigo-Tsumari. The tour will trace the history of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, focusing on the base facilities where new works and special exhibitions are developed. Lunch will be served at TSUMARI KITCHEN, where you will enjoy a new tour-only menu supervised by Chef Yonezawa Fumio .
