About artworks

Can you tell me which of the artworks are open to visit?

Please check "now showing" on "Artworks".

I would like to check out an artwork by artist X. Can you tell me where is it located?

Artwork(s) by a particular artist can be searched in "Artists".

Can I take photographs of the artworks?

Most of them are free to take photographs provided that you don't disturb the locals. Please contact us in advance if you would like to use these photos for commercial purpose. Please note that there may be a case that staff members or local people who look after the artwork may ask you not to take photos.

What is the opening hours?

Opening hours vary during the festival year or in-between the festival years.

Nohbutai: 10:00-17:00 (last entry 16:30)

I am an artist. How can I participate in the Triennale?

We invite participating artists by open call. Please keep your eyes on news section on our website or register yourself with our mail-newsletter (we are afraid that currently the mail magazine is only in Japanese.)

I am a university student and my research topic is community building. I would like to gain more insight about the Triennale.
