About the artwork

Plastic and soft “architecture” floated on the pool located in the center of Kinare. This work emitted a bluish white light at night, like a firefly squid. The artist struggled to make this “architecture” into a free-standing structure, and created many prototypes. Since it weighed 700 kg, it took 25 people to carry it out onto the water. During the Triennial, lots of children went inside the floating work, displaying smiles.
