About the artwork

About seventy people in Murono, ranging in age from 4 to 80, joined the artist in creating a park in a forest, a place to gather energy and share it with visitors. The design of the park reinforces the magical character of the mountain.Sphere (first circle): An obsidan sphere, a polished mirror, is hidden in the bushes at the top of a small hill. The mirror is a symbol of the soul. A magical mirror, it brings luck to those who gaze into it.Benches (second circle): These benches were designed and engraved by a wise man who lives in Murono. Memories and reflections on village life are engraved on the benches.Guardians (third circle): The guardians of earth and humanity look after those who see them half hidden in the bushes.Inscription (fourth circle): One inscription per family. These inscriptions symbolize integrity, family continuity from one generation to another. They mark our passage through Murono.
