About the artwork
Legend has it that the daughter of Ohtomo no Yakamochi threw herself into the Kagamigaike in this village. A yellow unglazed flower objet has been installed in the grounds of the nearby shrine. It is meant to welcome visitors as well as to mourn the deceased.
