Using furniture that was left in the abandoned house, the artwork expresses the history of Ichinosawa village where old and new have co-existed. Lit from behind, shoji paper with a drawing of a flow pasted on the furniture brings the “flow” of the river in the darkroom with a black wall. On the contrary, the upper floor is a bright space with a spreading range of mountains drawn with a transparent medium. The mountains which have continuously been surrounding the village are drawn by faint shadows.
