About the artwork

In the autumn of 2020, we ran the special exhibition “Expanding Mail Art” at Gallery Yuyama. Using the existing mail system, we have been pursing the possibility of connecting the world and continuing networking between artists within and outside Japan. Based upon this experience, Maeyama will run a project to encourage the artists from around the world with agenda to expand the network further and develop the potential of Mail Art. He will also organise an international exhibition.
