About the artwork
Funaki went back and forth freely between sculptures and paintings and created unconventional and diverse expressions, filled with freshness. “Birth of Stars” he made for the 2nd ETAT with 58 primary school children was his first work created with others. The work remains in the schoolyard of Matsunoyama Gakuen.
