About the artwork

Cai experienced compulsory quarantine in a hotel during the pandemic. He attempted to transform the closed environment in an isolated room into a place that was protected like a church by bringing in elements of multiple religions. The artist will recreate the scene and thought evoked from the quarantine experience in this artwork.
