About the artwork

During an art project in Kagoshima prefecture, the artist actually lived on a tropical island, and also visited a virgin forest in Hokkaido, and the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean Sea. The spatial recreation of the primeval forest embedded deep in his heart was possible with an installation comprising of paintings, objects, photographs and sand paintings on the floor. A world of mythological narrative depicts the desire to return once again into the depths of Nature.
