About the artwork

Part of Muraki’s effort to create a new look for the town using mud walls. His first step in this project, planned to take shape over ten years, was to start to work on a mud wall for this old house. The wall, which utilizes natural materials and age-old wisdom, required the cooperation of many people working together to complete.
