About the artwork

Reconstructing Materials Gathered from the Region to Depict the Future Environment
Drawing from their extensive exhibition history centred on environmental themes and sustainability, the artist crafts works within this space during their residency. Utilising waste materials and plants collected from Australia and through collaboration with locals of the Urada community, where the exhibition space is situated, the artist constructs pieces that eloquently portray the local environment. The resulting artworks reflect the agricultural cycle resonating with the rhythm of the seasons and promote a circular economy, where everything is recycled. This presentation offers a model for a sustainable future.
