About the artwork
A drawing created over tens of thousands of years as plants and creatures live and die on earth to become a part of the soil. In commemoration of the International Year of Soils 2015, there will be monoliths displayed that represent the Echigo-Tsumari region, Japan as a nation, and other parts of the world.
