About the artwork

The artist has run the “Yamazori Festival (mountain sleigh festival)” by recycling unused mountain sleighs and pulling people along. They will work on the sleighs to turn them into summer use and organise the “Yamazori Summer Festival”. The Mountain sleigh was once an essential means of transportation and getting around and also a symbol of collaboration and cooperation as it requires many people to get it to move. The mountain sleigh will be on display and the “Matsudai Moutain Sleigh Team” consisting of local people will pull the sleigh during the event.
