About the artwork

Located deep in a Japanese ceder forest, this work seems somehow to be a multiplying symbiote, struggling for life and co-existence with the surrounding trees. Made of beaten and welded copper, the curved shapes recall the roots of trees bent by the region’s heavy snows.
