Echigo-Tsumari Art Field has become a home of approximately 200 artworks created for Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, an art festival taken place every three years since 2000. As the spring approaches the region (at last!), we are pleased to launch Echigo-Tsumari Art Field 2019 Spring during the 10-day holiday. We look forward to seeing you here with lots of special exhibitions, workshops, events and eating experiences.

"Tunnel of Light" by Ma Yangson/MAD Architects
The Kiyotsukyo Tunnel has re-opened in summer 2018 with new artwork re-imagining the experience of the tunnerl in the region.

An exhibition featuring a range of works by Tatsuo Kawaguchi. Permanent collection in the school building by Yukihisa Isobe is also open for your visit.

"Hanagoyomi"
The exhibition features Hanagoyomi, seasonal changes of flowers, highlighting the diversity of distinctive plants of Satoyama and their relation to humans.
