An annual summer festival, Bon-Odori co-organised by the Azamihira village and the Day After Tomorrow Newspaper Department since summer 2003 returns. Yu Sato will present “GoroGoro Azamihira” during the day while theatre performance will be staged in the school-yard in the evening. Join bon-odori circle to dance to the music including dance that Katsuhiko Hibino gave life back to the traditional dance which was once ceased in the village.

"GoroGoro Azamihira" by Yu Sato
The artist, Yu Sato hops in on the GoroGoro, a bamboo sphere of 3m in diameter and go down the hill in Azamihira. Audience cheers or spray water the GoroGoro rolling down the hill.
