1. Notice of the Closure of Carlos Garaicoa’s "Fuyu"

The permanent installation “Fuyu” by Carlos Garaicoa at the Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET, will close to the public on Monday, December 15, 2025. Information regarding the presentation of the new work will be announced on this website as soon as it is decided.

2. Notice of Temporary Suspension of Selected Works at the museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET, Due to Installation Replacement Work

The museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET, will temporarily close certain exhibition rooms due to installation replacement work. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

  • Temporary closure period: Tuesday, December 16 – early March
    *The closure period may change depending on the progress of the work.
  • Admission fees during the temporary closure: Half of the regular fees
    Permanent exhibition: Adults ¥1,000 → ¥500, Children (elementary/junior high) ¥500 → ¥250
    Special exhibition: Adults ¥1,200 → ¥600, Children (elementary/junior high) ¥600 → ¥300
