“Snowy Wonderland” at Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, KINARE

Enjoy artworks inspired by snow or winter that you can try and experience! Slide on snow on a simple board, drive "kotatsu-car", be amazed by brightly-red sheet on the snow field and join in "digital yuki-gassen" by team asoview! OKAHON.

About artworks

"Red and White" by Takashi Nishibori with Wit Pimkanchanapong

The artist based in Thailand will bring large amount of consumables from Asia and make a landscape on the white snow field.

"Kotatsu Car Circuit" by Takafumi Fukasawa

A vehicle consisting of kotatsu (a desk with heater underneath of the desk top) and car. Stir "a tray" to set directions. Warm up yourself as you "drive" the car.

"Digital Yukigassen" by team asoview! ×OKAHON

Throw snow ball at or step onto images projected by projection mapping and enjoy manipulating these images as you interact.

"Snow board" by Junichi Kurakake

Slide on snowy hills on a hand-made simple board. Try it on at small mountain in KINARE.
