This exhibition highlights villages participating in "Matsudai Tanada Bank"
. Each village has its distinctively unique ways to live along with terraced rice field and to preserve food to spend long winter. This exhibition introduces unique ingridients, preservations and cooking that have been inherited for generations in those villages and learns about insipring culture.

About d7 Matsudai Tanada Bank Museum
Curated by D&DEPARTMENT who has been running "the first Japanese design produce museum" by hosting exhibitions of delicacies from 47 prefectures across Japan. "d 7 Matsudai Tanada Bank Museum" introduced seven different villages in seven panels each and opened for limited duration.
Echigo-Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo in Winter
Buffe in winter welcomes cheese fondue as well as special menu by Fumio Yonezawa. Enjoy delicious meal while overlooking snow landscape in front of you.

Fumio Yonezawa has been hosting a special dinner in Echigo-Tsumari since 2015. He supervised a special restaurant "TSUMARI KITCHEN" opened for tour participants during ETAT2018. He has been engaging with menu development at Echigo-Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo this year.
