Flower arranger. Born in 1987 in Hyogo. Graduated from Environmental Design at Osaka University of Arts. Imazu creates sculptures and installations using not only plants and flowers but also different materials that are arranged in “places”. Blending art elements into Ikebana, the artist breaks Ikebana from lessons and presents the art of Ikebana which has a sense of contemporaneity. Participated in Kobe Biennale 2015, The 2nd and 3rd iterations of New Ikebana Principle in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
