History
BankART1929 is a project for revitalising the metropolises while making use of historical buildings and port facilities endorsed by Yokohama-city for art and culture.
2003 Launched as an experimental project and opened “BankART1929 Yokohama” (former Daiichi Bank)
2005 Opened “BankART Studio NYK” (Port warehouses owned by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha)
2006 Transited to full-scale operation and opened “BankART Sakurasou” (renovation of a brothel)
