Born in 1973 in Aichi. Graduated from Imaging Arts and Sciences Department of Musashino Art University in 1998. Completed a master course of art and design at University of Tsukuba. Received an excellence award for art division at Japan Media Arts Festival in 2004. Participated in Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2006. The artist has presented many exhibitions including “The World of Hashimoto Norihisa: magnifying glasses and globes” at Gallery A4 in 2011. Currently lecturing at Meiji University and Musashino Art University.
