Obana Kenichi :
Works at the base in Akita prefecture. Recent major exhibitions include “Aichi Triennale 2022” (2022, Tokoname, Japan), “Yamagata Biennale 2022” Bunshokan (2021, Yamagata, Japan), “Setouchi Triennale 2022” (2022, Tadotsu Town) “V O C A2021” Ueno Royal Museum (2021, Tokyo), “The Ecology of Expression” Arts Maebashi (2019, Maebashi), etc. He produces drawings and sculptures generated from people’s activities, folklore, local landscapes, and history in various regions. He explores works that experience stories while moving back and forth between fiction and reality.
