Santiago Sierra

Born in 1966 in Madrid, Spain. Based upon approaches of minimal and conceptual art, Sierra presents artworks across the globe which explore hierarchies of authorities and classes embedded in everyday life and a capitalist society. Sierra confronts audiences with questions of morality and justice through artworks featuring currency exchange and labour exploitation such as performance of the employment of socially challenged persons to do meaningless jobs.
