Born in 1978 in Kyoto. Kaneuji participated in an exchange study program at Royal College of Art in London while he was a student at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2001. Completed master course in sculpture in 2003. He has developed an approach to create his work by collaging ordinary objects collected including plastic products, cutout of magazines and toys. He has presented his artworks in various forms spanning from sculpture, installation,
painting, photography, movies, stage design to binding. He has been actively working in collaboration with musician, photographers and experts in diverse fields.
