About the artwork

As visitors stroll through a section of Tsunan Mountain Park, they come upon three globes surrounded by forest. The giant globes were constructed from wood. There was nothing special about the materials used, just wood. The artist transformed these common-place nails into something more beautiful and the wood into something more expressive than their original form. Over the course of the exhibit, the globes are overrun by vegetation and eventually become part of the landscape.
