About the artwork

By bending or layering wood which tends to grow straight, the artist creates an artwork giving an alternative form. Layers repeatedly laid over one another expand like ripples across the surface. It reminds us of the flow of current or an ever-lasting Mobius strip. It reproduces the rhythm of life like wind floating in the air. For this artwork, a horse rambles like a forest sprite recollecting memories of days past when he had a beautiful history with humans. The horse is dreaming a journey to the unknown world.
