About the artwork
A two-day performance by artists who have been engaged with Matsudai Nohbutai and Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. Joined by local performers, they present a summer festival featuring Obon -a traditional ritual to receive sprits of ancestors in summer. In addition to a stage performance at Matsudai Nohbutai, the venue expands to Matsudai History Museum and surrounding area.
