About the artwork

The artist who pursues the theme of life, origin, existence and female presents a new artwork which has taken six years for completion. Drawing inspiration from utagaki, an ancient Japanese custom of courtship between a pair of young man and woman seeking for love, a tea house consisting of a deep-black ceiling made of feathers of crows, dry lacquer, lead, gold leaves, pieces of wood and old papers will be presented. Vase will hold wild flowers in Matsunoyama everyday during the festival.
