About the artwork
This artist arranged a workshiop with elementary scool students, using binoculars to pass along messages from the ruins of Oida Castle in Tokamachi City to the ruins of Fushikuro Castle in Kawanishi Town. The plaque and binoculars placed here commemorate this workshiop. The binoculars’ lenses are pointed to the future.
