About the artwork

In a beech forest, the artist built a nest for nurturing new life through light. Rather than presenting it to a large number of people, the artist wanted to place importance on those who would encounter this work, even if it was only a few people. Some made visits several times. After the Triennial, the plan became to have the main body at the top of the “light nest” stay in the forest until the following summer. “I feel it has returned to the way it is supposed to be,” the artist said.
