About the artwork

“Fog Sculpture”, an artwork using fogs, will be created above “Palimpsest: pond of sky” by Leandro Erlich in the large pond surrounded by corridors of MonET. The artwork artworks created with fog generated by an artificial device is a series of a masterpiece by Nakatani, the artist who is often called “fog sculptor” or “fog artist.” She has been presenting her works since the 1970s across the world and has had a huge response. One can not only watch the white fog that changes to different elements including the climate conditions but also actually walks into it. Viewers are embraced by ever-changing artwork and enjoy the work as they also feel changes in their five senses.
