About the artwork

CLIP created a comprehensive design for the entrance to the hot spring area and its parking lot. The booths include signs, a rest area and restrooms. Some are movable so that the parking lot can be rearranged for events or snow removal. The design was inspired by tall lanterns traditionally used at Japanese accommodation facilities.
