About the artwork

The artist creates a gorgeous and alternative world in the Matsudai Castle standing on the top of 384m-tall hill which has long been watching over the community of Matsudai. In the centre of the silver-foiled space sits a tearoom with gold-leaf – a Laxudai. Inside the tearoom is filled with different drawings and this spectacular space quietly awaits for visitors.

Due to the snowfall, the artwork is now closed to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who were looking forward to visiting the exhibition, and we appreciate your understanding.
