About the artwork

Combining techniques of phantasmagoria which was popular in the eighteenth century in Europe and “somato” (revolving lantern) which was an evening entertainment of the summer in the Edo era in Japan, the artists will make a fantastic space filled with moving shadows and other exhibitions in the former ryokan.
