About the artwork

As being cut out and resting there, gentlyAs lightly playing with wind, and melting into the simple,Pursuing beauty, feeling human, comfortablyAs time is layered, slowly, and opened wide,As falling into sleep quietly and ambiguouslyFinally erases contours, transitions,We slip at last into the scenery. The goal realized in this project was a space cradled by the trees. I wanted to give a different sense of values to the scenery, a vision in which withered leaves twist up in response to new green shoots. This vision is a protest against rigid values. The intent is serious but there are no hard and fast lines. Virtue resides in resonance and ambiguity.
