About the artwork

The “Forest of Compasses,” which has been taken care of by local people throughout the year, is like a literary calendar for the people who have been surrounded by heavy snow for about six months. The artist measured the position of the culminating sun in every 1/24 year, and left the tracks of the sun in the forest. This works symbolized the coexistence of the earth, sun, nature and people, and this project is still ongoing.
